Become a Venue

Downtown Emporia is the place to be on First Friday! We appreciate our Venues and work hard to make the Art Walk a positive experience for both businesses and artists.

If you would like your business to participate as an Emporia First Friday Venue, please read and agree to observe the following guidelines and sign up below.

Venue Guidelines

Provide adequate space for artists and their art inside the Venue.
Entry to the Venue must be free and available to all ages.
Venue must be ADA compliant and accessible to all.
Venue must be located between ESU campus and the train tracks, and no more than one block off of Commercial St.
Venue must be open for the entire Art Walk from 5 to 8 pm.
Acknowledge and help facilitate the Art Walk Rules for Artists.
One artist per Venue, and the artist must have signed up via the Artist Sign Up Form.

Pricing

A la carte venues are subject to artist availability and filled on a first come, first served basis. Sign up of at least 3 weeks in advance is recommended.

Early Bird Pricing (sign up by January 16, 2026)
- All In: $300 for 10 Art Walks
- We Like Art: $180 for 6 Art Walks
- Dippin' a Toe: $120 for 4 Art Walks
