Call for Entries – EFF Centennial Show

The Centennial Show will open in conjunction with Emporia First Friday’s 100th Art Walk on March 7.

Dates: March 7 – April 25, 2025

Location: Mulready’s Pub, 717 Commercial St.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Artist must have participated in at least one of the past 99 Emporia First Friday Art Walks
  • One entry per artist
  • Artists under the age of 16 will have a guardian fill out their Entry Form
  • Artist will fill out an Entry Form below
  • There is a $10.00 entry fee required to submit the Entry Form
  • Artist name and phone # must be written on or affixed to the entry
  • Size Requirements:
    • 3D – not exceed 12 inches in any direction
    • 2D – not exceed 20 inches in any direction
  • All 2D paper entries must be framed with a sawtooth or wire hanger
  • Canvas paintings must have a wire hanger
  • 3D entries must be free of sharp edges
  • ALL entries must be dry and clean
  • Entries should be relatively “family friendly”

Entries that do not meet the requirements will NOT be accepted

ARTWORK DELIVERY:

Deliver entries February 26 – March 2 only

  • between 9:00 am – 7:00 pm on Feb 26, Feb 27, Feb 28, March 1
  • between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on March 2

to EFF Headquarters, 715 Commercial St. If door is locked deliver to Trox Gallery (next door)

Deadline: March 2 at 4:00 pm

SALES:

  • All sales will go through Emporia First Friday
  • Artist will be paid the full amount of sale at the end of April
  • A check will be made out to the name on the Entry Form and mailed to the address on the Entry Form
  • EFF will not take a commission for handling the sale of artwork
  • Any piece that is purchased will not be able to leave Mulready’s until the end of the show on April 25, 2025
  • EFF will notify the artist if their piece sells, and arrange pick-up with the purchaser

ENTRY PICK-UP

All unsold pieces must be picked up from Mulready’s Pub during their normal business hours on:

  • Friday, April 25
  • Saturday April 26
  • Sunday April 27

Pieces that have not been picked up by April 27, 2025 will be stored at EFF Headquarters and the artist will be charged a $2 per day storage fee.

Mulready’s Pub is a 21+ establishment, but they will allow minors to visit and enjoy the show during the March 7 and April 4 Art Walks from 5:00 – 8:00 pm
